Nepal Bird Watching Tour

Nepal is a seventh heaven for birds lovers, here has about over 848 species (almost 8% of the world total species) of birds and among them almost 500 species is found in the capital city, Kathmandu, alone. The most popular bird watching spots in Kathmandu are Phulchoki, Godavari, Nagarjun, Bagmati River, Taudaha, Chitwan, Koshi Tappu, Bardai National Park and so on. Get your binoculars and look forward to a rewarding experience. The reason for this richness of species is the climate, the diversity of vegetation as well as its wide altitudinal range, which extends from sea level to the Himalayas. Chirping noises are the noises that we love to hear because of their sweetness and the shrill sounds make our heart sing with happiness. The wetlands and open fields inside the valley make up a diverse habitat for many species of birds.Nepal is home of some endangered birds like Impeyan Pheasant, Nepal's national bird and Spiny Babler, found only in Nepal. Kosi Tappu Wild Life Reserve and Bardia National Parks are also notable destinations for bird watching tours in Nepal. Many species of migratory birds are seen in these wild life areas.
